Published project / Our own business

A clearer way
to meet SparkX.

We rebuilt our own website to explain what we build, help visitors choose a starting point and send enquiries to the business inbox.

Explore the live website

This is an internal SparkX project. It demonstrates delivered website work, not a customer engagement or a measured conversion result.

The brief

Make the next step clear.

Bring the services, the way we work and the enquiry route into one coherent website.

The build covers service pages, practical guides, workflow studies and contact. The design uses local fonts and an original motion graphic with pause and reduced-motion controls.

What shipped

From the page to the inbox.

Original design and content.

A responsive Astro website with five detailed service pages, three guides and a clear route to discuss a project.

Connected enquiries.

A server-backed form validates the request before sending to a fixed SparkX inbox. It preserves the enquiry on failure and avoids automatic resend.

Search foundations.

Page titles, descriptions, canonical URLs, structured data, a sitemap and redirects from selected legacy URLs.

Recoverable release.

Source in GitHub, a preserved copy of the previous website and a production deployment on the existing hosting project.

How we checked it

Specific checks.
Clear limits.

  • Production build and internal link checks.
  • Contact validation and delivery handling with mocked mail transport.
  • Live browser checks of pages and canonical URLs.
  • One owner-approved form enquiry accepted by the SMTP server during the original release.

SMTP acceptance does not confirm inbox placement. Search rankings and conversion improvements have not been measured. The AI phone and intake studies elsewhere on this site remain illustrative.
